English Language Education
The English Language Study Program was established in 2009 with registered status based on the Decree of the Minister of Education 12374/D/T/K-V/2012 dated June 12, 2012. The English Language Study Program has been accredited UNGGUL based on SK LAM-DIK No. 881/SK/LAMDIK/Ak/S/XII/2022.
VISION of Science
"Developing English education that is adaptive to technological advances by using the FCPM (Factual, Conceptual, Procedural, and Metacognitive) approach in edutechpreneurship activities"
GOALS
- Producing English teachers in formal and non-formal institutions who are qualified and have competitiveness, moral foundation, high integrity and professionalism with educational technology competency;
- Producing designers or developers of syllabus, Learning Implementation Plans (RPP), teaching materials, learning media, and technology-based learning evaluations;
- Producing entrepreneurs in the field of English such as establishing course institutions, becoming content writers, or translators
Strategy
- Equipping students with pedagogical, professional, social, and personal skills as (prospective) English language educators through courses designed in an output-based curriculum
- Equipping students with digital and non-digital technology mastery skills to design learning materials, media, and evaluations
- Equipping students with entrepreneurial skills in English through the Englishpreneurship project
- Equipping students with HOTS (Higher Order Thinking Skills) and Metacognitive thinking skills in learning activities
- Equipping students with commitment, empathy, respect, integrity, and service in academic and non-academic activities
