Welcome to the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education,
The Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Mercu Buana University Yogyakarta (FKIP UMBY) was established in 2009 based on the decree of the Minister of National Education No. 859/D/T/2009 dated October 15, 2009. FKIP has four study programs, namely:
- Mathematics Education (PMAT) accredited by UNGGUL LAM-DIK No. 578/SK/LAMDIK/Ak/S/XI/2022
- English Education (PBI) accredited by UNGGUL LAM-DIK No. 881/SK/LAMDIK/Ak/S/XII/2022
- Guidance and Counseling (BK) accredited by UNGGUL LAM-DIK No. 915/SK/LAMDIK/Ak/S/VII/2024
- Sports Science (ILKOR) accredited VERY GOOD by BAN-PT No. 6702/SK/BAN-PT/Ak/S/XI/2024,
The aim of establishing FKIP is to produce professional educators by empowering the community.
Educators, including:
PNS/Private teachers in junior and senior high schools
Non-formal educators (tutors) in Tutoring Institutions (LBB) and Community Learning Activity Centers (PKBM)
Research (researchers):
Researchers working in the field of education, research institutions such as: PSKK, Survey Meters, PT Nelson, PT Sinergi, Mitra Riset, etc.), PPPPTK, Litbang, Study Centers, Training Centers and Higher Education Institutions Providing Mathematics Education.
