Yogyakarta, January 17, 2025 – The Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) at the University of Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta (UMBY) has recently celebrated two significant achievements. Dr. Ardhika Falaahudin, a lecturer in the Sports Science Study Program, successfully defended his doctoral dissertation, making him the second doctor to graduate from the program within a year.

The Dean, Nuryadi expressed his pride in Dr. Falaahudin's accomplishment, emphasizing its contribution to enhancing the quality of sports education within the faculty. The dean also highlighted the ongoing efforts to improve the overall academic standing of FKIP.

In addition to Dr. Falaahudin's achievement, five FKIP lecturers have been promoted to higher functional positions. These promotions reflect the faculty's commitment to fostering a highly qualified and experienced teaching staff.

The vice dean of FKIP, Agustinus Hary Setawan, noted that the faculty is actively supporting lecturers in pursuing advanced degrees and professional development opportunities. He congratulated the newly promoted lecturers and expressed his confidence in their continued contributions to the faculty.
