Yogyakarta, August 29, 2025, entitled “memetri luhuring budaya” (preserving cultural heritage), FKIP UMBY held a graduation ceremony on August 15, 2025, at the seminar room on the 1st floor of Campus 1, Mercu Buana University Yogyakarta, Jalan Wates Km 10 Argomulyo Sedayu Bantul. The implementation of the above theme was to require graduation ceremony participants to wear traditional clothing from their respective regions.
Dean of FKIP UMBY Nuryadi SPd MPd said, "This graduation ceremony produced 36 bachelor's degree graduates from the Mathematics, English Education, Guidance and Counseling, and Sports Science study programs. The purpose of the above theme is for FKIP graduates of Mercu Buana University Yogyakarta to be able to “apply” the knowledge gained on campus to various heterogeneous communities, be able to compete, and become pioneers in responding to global challenges.
