Yogyakarta, May 27, 2025 — The Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) at Mercu Buana University Yogyakarta (UMBY) held a workshop and signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) with nine schools and five strategic partners in the Yogyakarta area. The event took place on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, at the Rectorate Meeting Room, UMBY Central Campus.

This activity marks an important milestone in strengthening collaboration between higher education institutions and basic and secondary education institutions, as well as various partner organizations, in support of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education. The MoA signing covers collaboration in the fields of education (Field Introduction Program), research, and community service.

The cooperation agreement was signed by the Dean of FKIP, Nuryadi, S.Pd.Si., M.Pd., with the partner institutions and schools, namely State Senior High School 1 Depok, State Senior High School 1 Sedayu, State Senior High School 1 Seyegan, State Senior High School 1 Pengasih, State Senior High School 1 Mlati, State Senior High School 2 Ngaglik, State Senior High School 4 Yogyakarta, State Senior High School 1 Yogyakarta, Kesatuan Bangsa Senior High School, Permata Sports Therapy Yogyakarta, LKP Rumah Sehat Mandiri, Eight GYM, Point GYM, and HBP Fitness GYM.

PPL Coordinator, Ginanjar Nugraheningsih, M.Or., stated that PPL serves as a platform for students to familiarize themselves with various field conditions they will encounter in the future.

“Students are expected to adapt to the institutional environment and follow existing regulations so they can conduct PPL professionally and contribute to the development of education in Indonesia,” she said.
