FKIP UMBY Organizes Comparative Pedagogy Based on Inquiry

Yogyakarta, 20/02/2024. Not long ago FKIP UMBY held a celebration and hospitality at Joglo Resodinomo, Pereng Dawe Jl. Wates Km.9, Balecatur Gamping Sleman. This event was titled upakarti education for the promotion of lecturers in four FKIP study programs including, Nafida Hetty Marhaeni SPd MPd (Lecturer), Naela Faza Fariha SSi MSc Expert Assistant) from the Mathematics Education Study Program, Heribertus Binawan SPd MPda (Lecturer) from the English Education Study Program, Yulius Agung Saputro SOr MOr (Lecturer), Febri Silistyo MOr (Expert Assistant).

In his hospitality, Nuryadi SPd Mpd, the dean of FKIP conveyed the importance of Asynchronous Inquiry learning, a teaching model that uses asynchronous delivery of material or content for training, using computer network technology. This approach combines a learner-centered teaching model while providing technology-based training by improving skills and knowledge by motivating and preparing learners. “It is hoped that with this approach model, UMBY FETT graduates can compete according to the times”. 

On that occasion, Deputy Dean of FETT UMBY Agustinus Hary Setyawan added, “One of the successes of the Inguiri model implemented by FETT UMBY is the implementation of the FKIP Award, where students are given the freedom to think critically, innovatively, and responsibly” he concluded.
